New Client Welcome Talk

The People That Come Get The Best Results

What Is The Point Of Coming To Our New Client Welcome Talk

We have just started running our weekly health talks again at Taylor’s Coffee Shop in West Byfleet. This is something we used to do a lot in the pre-pandemic days and it’s something that we’ve just been encouraged by clients and new clients to get back into doing more of.

What is it and why is it important?

The new client talk is a really good way for you to get an understanding of what we do as Chiropractors and how we can benefit you in the long term. A lot of people have no idea what Chiropractors do or how we can help in many ways.

It’s also a great way for people to bring friends or family so they can also get onboard with the journey. Very often a lot of our clients have been suffering with pain for 10, 20, even 30 years and tried many avenues without getting the results that they need. This then brings in the family, friends, who all tend to be involved in the journey, when you’re close to someone who is struggling with back issues, neck issues and sciatica, it tends to affect more than just one person as your loved ones try to help you.

We find that the clients that come to the talk have a better understanding of what Chiropractic really does and how we as a clinic at West Chiropractic can benefit them in the long run. The talk will go through the fundamentals behind why back pain happens, as to why it’s different for everybody. Simple steps to start taking to moving your body in the right direction to reduce long term chronic immobility and getting you back to flexibility and independence. Whatever your goals maybe it’s important to highlight these in your assessment so we can work towards them together.

It allows you to understand that Chiropractic is more than just pain and once we get you out of pain, how you can enjoy a life of fulfilment with full independence and doing the things that you used to do.

It’s really important to remember that when coming under Chiropractic care, it’s not a one-size-fits-all and it is definitely not a quick fix and we talk through this in the health talks to give you an understanding of how the healing process works. People heal at different rates depending on many factors, the external surroundings, stress and how motivated they are to change.

I know that it’s often a pain to have to come to a talk on a Monday evening at 6pm. There are so many better things that you would love to do and also a lot of the time, you just want to come in, get your assessment and find out what’s going on. But I can tell you that the people that come to the talk, get the best results long term as they have a deeper understanding of what is happening when they go through the corrective process.

The reason is they ask us different questions on how we can help. They have a better understanding of what we’re going to do and it allows us to get into much more detailed analysis of what’s going on with their body. We don’t spend the first 30 minutes of the consultation explaining what we do, there is already a level of understanding there, this means the clients that have attended the talk tend to ask a better level of question and give us more detail, to help us diagnose but also really understand what their goal is.

We can spend more time focusing on the deeper layers of why certain chronic issues may be going on and we get better outcomes because the patient understands about the journey that we’re going to go on, rather than just being on one appointment and not getting the result you need every time.

The talk is also great (I have to say this I’m biased) as there’s free coffee. The coffee at Taylor’s is fantastic, also some red wine, white wine, or a lager. It’s all on me.

So come on down. Bring some friends and family and have a drink with me. Give me 45 minutes and let me show you how we can help long term.
