What Are The Benefits Of Our New Roller Beds?

Exciting news! New roller tables in West Chiropractic. I’ve seen some emails coming in this week about our brand-new addition to the family. These are the roller tables, the technical term for them is intersegmental traction table.

Why have we invested in roller tables?

We are always trying to provide more and better results for our clients as we grow as a clinic. These not only feel amazing when you’re lying on them. They do have a physiological benefit as well in that the rollers go up and down the spine, opening the vertebra and providing lubrication for the joints to increase flexibility and mobility, helping long-term chronic back and neck issues and to get you back to your goals quicker. Whatever your goals maybe, whether that’s walking farther, getting out of bed more comfortably, picking up your kids or getting back to playing sport and running.

These beds are aimed to be used before the adjustment relax the spine and allow the body to get back in a better position and also make it easier for the Chiropractor to get more out of your body and get you quicker results. We also want to be able to keep your spine and joints in place long term and give you the tools to keep your body there.

Who can use them?

Anyone can use them if you can lie flat on your back. The only people that we are concerned about not being able to use them to their full potential are severely overarched people who may be struggling with postural issues. Meaning they can’t lie flat on their back. Otherwise, they’re very gentle and most people should be able to use them.

Are they common?

They’re very common in the US and Canada, not so much in the UK. We have imported them from the US where Chiropractors make up a huge part of modern healthcare. Here in the UK Chiropractors are not as involved but we are fighting the fight and will keep doing our best to get the message out there. No long-term painkillers and if we can avoid surgery then why not try Chiropractic?

If you would like to come have a free session, please let us know. We would be glad to assist.
